The joinery CAD designer will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for custom joinery projects in SolidWorks/Swood. The designer will work closely with the project management and sales team to accurately interpret the design intent, surveyed information, and accepted quotation specification. The CAD designer will produce accurate joinery drawings for approval by the client and a production pack of information for the factory team to manufacture. The production pack will include a full set of technical drawings, comprehensive cutting list, procurement list, and any DXF/CNC files for importing to the machines. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of joinery techniques and materials, and critically a passion for creating functional and aesthetic bespoke joinery in a commercially conscious and efficient design.
