An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Bourne Veterinary Practice for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis (30 hours).

Bourne Veterinary Practice is a purpose-built practice in the heart of the countryside in Bekesbourne, Canterbury, Kent. With excellent transport links, we are situated just 10 minutes from the City of Canterbury and 30 minutes from the port of Dover.
We have state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopedic equipment, laser unit, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a separate rehabilitation unit with our water treadmill. Our main clinic consists of 4 consultation rooms and a large reception waiting area. We have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward. Additionally, we have a separate cat clinic which is ISFM Silver accredited.

There are plenty of opportunities to learn from both senior and visiting colleagues. We encourage the sharing of CPD and best practices and hold regular meetings to ensure that we are delivering the best care for our patients and clients.
There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients. The position is part-time Monday-Friday with 1:6 Saturday shifts (8am-5pm) and the weekday shifts are 10-hour shifts for 3 days a week. The earliest start time would be 8:00am and the latest finish time 20:00pm. There is no out of hours or on-call duty.
