Ashton Recruitment require a Sales Support Administrator our client based in Belfast. Position: Sales Support Administrator Location: Belfast Duration: Temp-Perm Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, and every third Sunday from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Working on a Sunday can be paid at time and a half or time off in lieu. Established in 1989, this Belfast-based company has been a leading supplier of fresh produce and fine foods to the region's retail and food service sectors for over 35 years, they offer a diverse product range-including fruits, vegetables, dairy, charcuterie, breads, and beverages-sourced through strong relationships with local farmers and global producers. The post holder will be enthusiastic, organised, hard-working and have the ability to work on their own initiative under pressure, problem solve, work to deadlines and maintain positive relationships with both customers and other members of the Customer Service team. Duties will include: Providing a high level of sales support to Food Service sales staff Receiving and processing telephone and email orders Selling promotions Assisting Sales Representatives with pricing and customer queries Building and maintaining good customer relationships Being the first point of contact for customers with queries on products, orders, and deliveries Checking data accuracy on pricing and orders ahead of invoicing Providing excellent customer services Essential Criteria: 1. Be available to work the following shifts: Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, and every third Sunday from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Working on a Sunday can be paid at time and a half or time off in lieu. 2. Be flexible to cover shifts when required. 3. Have an excellent telephone manner. 4. Have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of MS Office and Excel 5. Have strong organisational skills. 6. Have excellent use of written and spoken English with the ability to interact internally and externally. 7. Be able to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Be able to manage their time effectively. 9. Be comfortable with responsibility and meeting deadlines. Desirable Criteria: 1. Will have experience in the foodservice industry. 2. Will have worked in a customer services environment, processing customer orders.
