The Job:
You will be working with our clinical teams to deliver the best primary care healthcare service to our patients.
Location: This role will involve covering multiple sites across South East London.
Hours: Ideally full time (weekdays), part time also considered.
Salary: £25 - 30,000 FT depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* New patient health checks and other health screening.
* Urinalysis and preparation of specimens.
* Blood tests and phlebotomy.
* Long term condition reviews where appropriate.
* Vaccinations including flu/pneumococcal vaccines.
* Dressings and wound-care.
* Patient education and promotion of health and well-being.
* Gathering lifestyle data from patients.
* Infection control and equipment management.
* Vaccination management and clinical stock control.
About You:
The right candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with our diverse patient population, and be able to work well in a close-knit team of both clinicians and non-clinicians. Good clinical knowledge and analytical skills are important to ensure successful consultations.
Experience required: We are ideally looking for someone with >12 months experience working in a GP Primary Care setting. Previous experience working with EMIS also preferred but not required.
