Job Title – Car Rental Returns Agent – Heathrow Airport
Job Location – Heathrow Airport
Salary – £8.25ph plus Monthly Bonus
As a Returns Agent, you will be greeting customers as they return their rental car back to Heathrow Airport.
You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting customers in expediting the conclusion of their vehicle rental experience and making them feel valued while they wait.
The Returns Agent provides a friendly and efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process and assists all customers with the rental return process.
You will provide a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service while accurately completing all transactions.
Responsibilities:
1. Put a smile on customers’ faces when you provide them with excellent service.
2. Help expedite the car rental process so customers can get to their terminal quickly and easily.
3. Secure vehicle keys from the customer upon return and confirm necessary documentation and checks are performed as needed.
4. Ensure the car is ready for the next customer by inspecting and recording for new damages and checking petrol levels and mileage.
5. Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot.
6. Remind customers to check for personal belongings.
7. Advise and review rental charges, and provide an accurate receipt to the customer.
8. Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal.
9. Inquire about service satisfaction and document any dissatisfaction.
10. Discreetly check vehicles for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customers to the counter for completion of damage/loss report.
11. Keep the car park organized for ease of access and traffic flow.
12. Understand the damage loss report reporting procedure.
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
1. Must have 6 months of customer service/sales experience.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. Willingness to work outdoors in weather conditions with moderate noise level.
4. Basic computer skills (typing, data entry).
5. Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
Examples of Shift Patterns:
1. Hours are varied – 05:30-17:30, 06:30-18:30, 09:00-21:00, 14:00-02:00 over a 7-day week.
