We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our client and provide first-line support for users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and network infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining production control systems, and assisting with IT projects such as new workflow implementations.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, including end users, operations, and senior management, providing technical support and ensuring security provisions are in place.
Responsibilities:
* Experience handling and resolving 1st Line IT support tickets efficiently.
* Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Desktop, Office 365, and desktop applications).
* Understanding of cyber security best practices.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills, supporting users across all levels.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Computer Science or IT-related subject.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of IT networking.
* Experience with Linux.
* Familiarity with ticket management systems.
* Knowledge of Apple Mac OS.
