Job Title: Senior Portfolio Manager Reports To: Operations Manager Required Qualifications, Skills and experience: Proven track record in Operations and Maintenance in the Solar industry, demonstrating multi-season experience managing sites from PAC to full O&M. Relevant and recent experience in solar operations and maintenance site management, including typical contract scope, services procurement, systems/processes/efficient delivery, and H&S Excellent technical, and analytical skills is required. Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as CMMS software is required. Required knowledge of power electronics and circuitry, power generation technologies and equipment are desired. Excellent customer service skills – polite and approachable, with the ability to negotiate and work with multiple stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues is required Purpose of the Senior Portfolio Manager They will lead the regional office teams, supporting and facilitating the delivery and compliance of the services set out in the O&M service contract relating to PPMs schedules, corrective works, and additional services, ensuring all operations and maintenance (O&M) activities are performed in accordance with industry best practice. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and support the regional office-based management of a Portfolio of Solar sites. Ensuring that corrective maintenance, testing and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems is scheduled and reported to the client in a timely manner. Supporting the Operations Manager to ensure works scheduled and completed. Work with the Operations Manager by leading the regional teams providing guidance and support to Portfolio Managers and Associate Portfolio Managers. Management of work orders and digital platforms. Support Operations Manager leading the proper planning and managing of PPM’s and CM’s throughout the year utilising BOL resources, ensuring works are scheduled and competed within the contractual year, and keeping third party contractor utilisation to a bare minimum. Work closely with the Operations Manager to gain experience and develop their skills in managing solar portfolios. Assisting with the production of monthly reports and general reporting for clients. Analysis the Portfolio of sites with monitoring team, reviewing production analysis of sites. Identify ‘value add’ projects, defined as activity significantly impacting the performance of the site, the health and safety of the workforce and visitors, and compliance with planning requirements above and beyond of BOL contractual obligations with the aim of maximising availability, Assisting with the management of CCTV and security contractors, Clients and Contracts, ensuring O&M contractual obligations are fulfilled. Support the Operations Manager on the commercial and client service orientated strategy for continuous improvement of relationship with Asset Managers and identification of Additional services and projects. Monitor maintenance KPIs and highlighting trends for the Operations Manager and BOL Senior Management Team to make decisions on setting site specific O&M plans. Supporting the Operations Manager with ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, e.g. LDs, corrective hours and coordinating actions with the wider team. Strategic planning, decision-making, and ensuring the overall success of the portfolio by analysing data, problem solving and coordinating with various stakeholders. Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the Portfolio Managers and Associate Portfolio Managers within their team. Maintain data security and confidentiality by using information within the parameters of the job role, any applicable SLAs, the company data policies and / or privacy notices and the statutory guidelines set out within the GDPR and any associated UK legislation, in particular data that is generated by CCTV or that may be classified as personal data. Comply with all required fire, health and safety requirements for the environment in which you are working, including making yourself aware of the current applicable policies and risk assessments and acting accordingly, and attending any required training. Any other reasonable task as requested by a Manager, Partner or Director of the business. Interactions within the Bluefield Group Interact with Asset Managers regarding contractual requirements and additional works Interact with Finance team regarding invoicing. Communicate information as required within the team. Attend team meetings, company meetings, handover meetings and appraisals as required. Job Location Bristol Central and frequent UK travel. Hybrid working available, minimum 3 days is in the office. There may be opportunities to travel overseas on occasion and this may be required for training purposes. You are required to visit company sites within the UK; this requires you to be able to drive. Hours of Work 37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 am until 5:30 pm. Flexible working is available.
