Mission: The Category Buyer will act as the main SPOC of the suppliers under his/her responsibility, leading business continuity, driving strategy, supplier base development and optimization, and enhancing digital and sustainable practices with suppliers and their supply chains.
Goals/Responsibilities:
1. Interface with category manager to collect ETO specifications, specify the qualification criteria, and contribute to the segmentation of the strategy.
2. Contribute and implement the strategy (SOC) in the cluster perimeter.
3. Negotiate global frame-agreements with "cluster" suppliers.
4. Initiate and drive breakthrough (make or buy, rebalancing, SBO, innovation...) on the category he/she is managing and follow the advancement.
5. Develop supplier competitiveness and assess the quality level. React to deviations.
6. Organize lessons learned per category (multi-supplier approach). Return of Experience on key projects or on ETO dimension.
7. Secure supplier competitiveness on the commodity perimeter and the performance on negotiation lever.
8. Raise and address "cluster" supplier quality of service and business continuity.
9. Business Continuity first level for escalation.
10. Support PPM and Group Manager on SRM strategy (Sponsorship, C2P, Business review).
11. Supplier base next generation, supplier selection connected with Category Strategy.
