But, to get to where we want to be, we are looking for a Senior Channel Manager for our Consumer and Direct To Consumer Communications on a 12 month contract. Find out more below!
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Brand and Customer Experience, you will be a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for defining and executing the communications strategy for our DTC and Consumer audiences aligned to our strategic plan. Naturally inquisitive, you will seek to understand the DTC and consumer shopper journeys to be able to create effective communications strategies that drive brand preference both direct and through consumer channel partners.
You will execute our annual media, social, PR and digital communications plans, the role requires strong organizational and agency management skills. Using your ecommerce and digital marketing expertise to drive demand and increase conversion to help us achieve our DTC targets.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Utilises and analyses data and insight to define strong DTC and Consumer communications strategies
2. Drives the brand strategy through all communications channels, including working closely with the Senior Channel Manager for Consumer channels to influence plans through consumer channel partners.
3. Responsible for the execution of multi-channel communications plans including the annual media, social, PR and digital marketing plans
4. Defines and manages the DTC data strategy roadmap and execution as an enabler to our DTC strategy
5. Owns the PR, Social, DTC and Media A&P budget and is able to show ROI
6. Analyses and reports on campaign and promotions performance and uses information to develop action plans to address underperformance and report monthly to the Service Steering Committee
7. Partners with the Brand Visualisation manager to inform the direction for content development required for DTC and consumer channels.
8. Works with the Digital Transformation team’s web and salesforce service teams to influence and inform the enhancements required to deliver DTC OKRs.
9. Works closely with the customer service leadership team to deliver the service value proposition – tone of voice and value proposition – and support sales conversion through the contact centre.
10. Has overall ownership of the front end of the website, managing new pages, content updates and promotional execution.
11. Informs the strategic plan and ensures alignment with IBP, flagging barriers to strategy
12. Builds a strong accountable team by setting clear OKRs, helping create strong development plans and managing performance
Skills/Requirements
13. Minimum 5 years in marketing roles and/or related experience
14. Broad experience covering digital marketing, customer service and management of agencies.
15. A self-starter who can manage multiple projects and hold agencies to account to meet tight deadlines.
16. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate at all levels, including excellent agency briefing skills.
17. Results driven, the ideal person will have strong data analysis skills and be able to draw out insight and make recommendations for improvement.
