Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for an enthusiastic Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar pensions administration or office administration role where they have gained knowledge and experience of MS Office products.

The Team
Our award-winning pensions administration business puts scheme members at the heart of everything we do. Our services include scheme administration, first-time outsourcing, member communications and scam protection.
As a Pensions Administrator with XPS you will:
* Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
* Log and scan post/correspondence.
* Handle both Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) queries.
* Receive and handle internal and external telephone queries.
* Run automated systems calculations.
* Perform manual benefits calculations.
* Produce letters to ‘draft standards’ via Electronic Document Management system (EDM) in response to customer queries and arrange for them to be issued after checking.
* Return original documentation and certificates to customers.
* Amend and, with experience, develop into checking non-financial work e.g. change of address.
* Develop a basic knowledge and awareness of their clients and associated schemes.
* Assist the team with project-related work e.g. bulk mailshots to scheme members.
* Work closely with other departments/teams both internal and external to the Company in order to provide a total service to our clients. E.g. Pensions Accounts, Payroll, Administration Support and ITM (3rd party IT software provider).
* Ensure the accurate updating of time recording system (Virtual Office) for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities and meet required utilisation targets.
Your profile
* Previous pension administration or office administration experience.
* Good level of education with a minimum Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to work in advance of deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks.
* Able to see projects/tasks through to completion within given timescales.
* Willingness to learn.
* Able to follow instructions, procedures, policies and assimilate information quickly in a consistent manner.
