Payroll is outsourced, and the business utilises an invoice discount facility to support ongoing operations. Key Responsibilities Accounts & Financial Reporting Production of management accounts – producing monthly P&L and balance sheet, posting all journals accordingly Management information - Produce weekly reports to support informed business decisions and provide relevant analysis and insights Budget preparation - assist with preparation of annual budget working closely with budget holders Balance sheet reconciliations - perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance VAT returns - preparation of quarterly VAT return Cash flow forecasting - production of weekly cash flow forecast Ledger Management Oversee ledgers and financial processes Purchase ledger - posting all purchase invoices and production of payment run files Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data Growth & Development Adapt financial processes to meet the demands of a growing business Support the expansion of the business by managing financial systems effectively Candidate Requirements Background & Qualifications Qualified - Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or economics and/or CFA, ACCA or similar Strong organisational and self-management skills Ability to produce accurate financial data and insightful analysis If this opportunity sounds of interest and you meet the relevant requirements we'd love to hear from you.
