As UK E&P Network Manager you will be responsible for setting a comprehensive national strategy for one of Air Liquide’s key sales channels - our network of distributors. Reporting directly to the E&P Market Unit Manager, your role will be to manage a team of two Network Developers, focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with our distribution partners whilst identifying opportunities to further improve our network footprint. Working closely with commercial colleagues, you will align the distributor network strategy with overall UK business objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales initiatives and marketing efforts are well-coordinated, maximising the effectiveness of each campaign. Additionally, you will play a transversal role in enhancing operational efficiencies across the network by segmenting our distributors based on current value and future potential, streamlining processes & improving supply chain integration, and ensuring that our distributors are equipped with the tools they need to improve our Customer Experience. Working in a matrix-managed organisation, you will need to be adept at building business relationships both internal & external in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the Network & wider business. The role will require visits to distributors and covers the whole UK territory so applicants must be prepared for travel and overnight stays. Create, develop and drive UK distributor channel strategy In cooperation with Commercial & Operational colleagues, create a UK channel strategy that supports sales and footprint targets and drives connected UK efficiency objectives Key strategy elements to consider include territorial coverage (Powerzone approach, blank spots etc), service level and customer experience, distributor performance in volume & revenue, overall network maturity Communicate the strategy clearly to ensure overall understanding and support by organisation stakeholders Continuously monitor and implement strategy together with Network Developers and commercial colleagues through defined meetings and KPIs Segment distributors by value contribution, growth potential, resource capabilities & territorial alignment Work jointly with the Market Unit Manager & Cluster Offer Deployers, to ensure creation, follow-up and sign-off on distributor specific sales and marketing plans Conduct annual review and update of region and country level maturity assessment, identify development areas and ensure mapping to strategy and action plans Set commission structures & engage in commercial contract negotiations with distributors Safety Promote safe behaviour, ensure a country overview of competence and training status in the network Support SHEQ team when required UK channel structure and KPI follow-up Maintain and develop Network Handbook, promote and drive execution in the field Create and develop focused KPIs to monitor distributor performance Yearly evaluation based on the selected KPIs Update segmentation of distributors according to evaluation Tools development and implementation planning Ensure proper planning and roll out of new tools (i.e SFDC, Distributor Portal) related to active cycle distributor management Map current needs and potential improvement areas through tools Evaluate impact of implemented tools and report via assigned KPIs Communication and collaboration Accompany Network Developers on visits to ensure market understanding and to identify pain points / potential improvement actions Coach, lead & develop your team in order to succeed in driving network ambitions Utilise available AL / EGS forums to actively facilitate transversal solutions for CX improvement & revenue / margin growth Organise quarterly Network Plan meetings involving relevant stakeholders Are you a MATCH?
