An exciting job role has recently become available at the Oxford Health NHS Trust. They are looking for a new member for their CAMHS Team. The roles’ purpose is to make sure the children mental health within the service is looked after and the correct actions are taken forward. You will be liaising with all professionals to make sure the correct department is aware of any concerns raised. Responsibilities: To prioritise own day to day workload and ensure that LAC cases are appropriately prioritised. To offer support and clinical advice and guidance to the team around the treatment of LAC. To undertake assessments of LAC children and their wider support network to ensure their mental health and wellbeing needs are met To offer brief intervention/ advice and guidance to children and their wider support network as appropriate. To ensure all children are assessed in a timely manner in line with local and national LAC targets. To ensure that care and assessments are adequate planned and documented on the electronic medical notes system, including care plans and risk assessments. To offer signposting/ support and guidance to other staff members and services as appropriate regarding the treatment and management of Looked After children. To have detailed knowledge relating to both the national and local protocols and procedures regarding the treatment and management of LAC and to ensure that these are adhered to across the wider CAMHS network.
