Job Description
Working as an Breakfast & After School Club Assistant, you will provide the very best childcare for children in one of our out of school settings.
This role is ideal for a TA, or Sports Coach that would like to have variety in their day and the opportunity to really have fun with children.

The Position
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Breakfast & After School Club Assistant who can provide a range of play-based and sports activities for children in our Childcare provision.
This role requires an individual who is confident, knowledgeable, and versatile with the ability to engage young people and you will ideally have experience of working with Primary School children aged 4-11 years.
You will be friendly and approachable and will be able to work creatively to develop a stimulating and exciting environment.
If you have childcare experience and a childcare qualification and want to play and be creative with children, then we could have the job for you.
• £10 - £12.50 per hour DOE
• Working Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 8:40am and Monday - Thursday 2:30pm - 5:30pm
• Term-time only (with the opportunity of holiday work)
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the day to day running of the provision
• Providing an excellent Customer experience and Customer liaison
• The safeguarding of all children
• Building links with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of all children
• Act as a point of contact for queries/complaints
• Promoting the provision within the provision location
• Providing a light tea for the Active Care participants
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
• Experience in a similar environment (wraparound care/holiday clubs)
• Experience in EYFS (planning activities & experience assisting an Out of School Club or Sport Club) - (Desirable)
• Holds a Level 2 coaching badge (Desirable)
• Knowledge and passion for a variety of sports (Desirable)
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Level 2/3 childcare or Play-work qualification (Desirable)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene (Training can be provided)
• Be available five days a week (Mon-Fri)
• First aid (Training can be provided)
• Knowledge of the statutory requirements for after school clubs, and an awareness of health and safety, and practical hygiene issues - (Training can be provided)
