We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect, the role is pivotal in shaping and driving the enterprise-wide technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions to enhance their banking services and operational resilience.
Role and Responsibilities
* Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring it supports the bank’s business objectives and regulatory frameworks.
* Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that enables digital transformation and operational excellence.
* Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
* Establish architectural principles, standards, and governance frameworks to guide technology decision-making.
* Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
* Lead the design and implementation of cloud, data, and application architectures that support business agility and growth.
* Ensure integration and interoperability across various banking platforms, risk systems, and third-party solutions.
* Work closely with engineering, security, and risk management teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and security best practices.
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to solution architects, developers, and other IT professionals.
* Participate in vendor evaluation and management to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture goals.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within the financial services industry, preferably investment banking.
* Strong understanding of banking products, financial regulations, and risk management principles.
* Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
* Proficiency in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
* Solid experience in microservices, APIs, and integration patterns.
* Strong knowledge of data architecture, including data governance, analytics, and big data technologies.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and technical teams.
* Proven ability to drive digital transformation initiatives and manage complex technology landscapes.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar) are highly desirable.
