Main duties of the job
This post would be well suited for an MRI radiographer wishing to develop and expand on their MRI experience. The MRI service is currently delivered at the Finchley Memorial Hospital as part of the Community Diagnostic Centre. The service is delivered on a shift basis, working 7:45am – 8pm, 7 days a week.

Person specification
Education & professional Qualifications
* DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
* HCPC registration
* IV Cannulation Certificate
Experience
* Knowledge and experience with NHS Targets and Care pathways
* Experience in specialised imaging techniques such as CT, Interventional Radiology/Cardiology
* Experience using PACS and RIS
* Experience dealing with a diverse range of patient presentations
* Experience of performing Quality Assurance tests
Skills and aptitudes
* Ability to work independently and also within a team
* Ability to prioritise and organise demands and multi-task
* IV Cannulation experience and administration of Contrast
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of cross-sectional anatomy
Personal Qualities & attributes
* Keen interest and understanding of a range of current and future imaging techniques and practices
* Demonstrate a respect for and commitment to patient care and safety
* A commitment to CPD
* Ability to liaise with patients and their relatives or carers using empathy and tact

* Clear and appropriate communication skills
* Presents self as an outstanding representative of both the Royal Free London Trust and the radiographic profession
