We're looking for a Commis Chef to join our talented team at the Riverside venue, a beautiful venue where food, service, and scenery come together to create something special.
Potential opportunities for both full-time seasonal or part-time to fit around studies and other commitments.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assisting in the food preparation for both our Muddy Oar bar, Gallery Kitchen Restaurant & outdoor catering facilities.
2. Pride in maintaining standards of cleanliness and food/drink safety.
3. Setting up and serving food at events/conferences.
4. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties or reasonable management requests when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1. Professional kitchen experience desirable, but not essential as full hands-on training will be provided.
2. Food hygiene certificates and health and safety regulations desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
SKILLS:
1. Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, keeping a calm head when under pressure.
2. Able to work on one's own initiative and also as part of a team.
3. Excellent time management and communication skills.
4. Pride in providing a presentable working area and demonstrating high levels of customer service & a positive attitude.
5. Ability to take food orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service and positive attitude.
