Experienced Industrial Engineer required for our Client's site in Huddersfield. We're currently looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer with extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week) most of the work will be done on-site, but documentation or other paperwork can be done from home. The initial assignment duration is 6 months with a possibility of extension.
Working hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3 pm (with some flexibility).
About the role:
As an Industrial Engineer in the larger Manufacturing team, the majority of your time will be spent on the work floor observing the existing processes, identifying where there is waste, and improving manufacturing equipment and processes to decrease this waste.
Must haves for the role:
1. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes (not necessarily mechanical).
2. Previous experience in Industrial Engineering (line balancing, time study, SMED reduction).
3. Good knowledge of Excel.
Nice to have:
1. Apprentice trained.
2. Experience with AutoCAD.
Job Summary:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
