Job summary Teaching Fellow Posts in Medicine- UNDERGRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION There is a fantastic job opportunity coming up at Northwick Park Hospital starting, August 2025 for an initial period of 1 year (negotiable and extendable subject to performance). Post with responsibility of teaching undergraduates and clinical opportunities if wanted. The job offers the candidate the opportunity to obtain Certificate in Medical Education. (Requires separate application) Depending on the interests of the successful applicant, the clinical training & research will take place within Northwick Park Hospital LNWH Trust. The post holder will be expected to spend at least 75% of their contracted time helping to develop, co-ordinate and deliver a high standard of clinical teaching to the medical students and the remainder of their time in clinical work & research. However, the numbers of students varies throughout the year (see the "timetable/grand plan" below) & at times there may be greater teaching commitments and at others (particularly June & July) it may be less when the TF may devote much more time to their research & clinical work. Thus flexibility and initiative is essential. Accountability The teaching component of the posts will be accountable to Dr Jaita Mukherjee and Dr Chima Oti. The clinical and research components will be accountable to the appropriate consultant physician or surgeon.
