This is a pivotal role where you will be the sole sales representative for the region but working with our wider sales force, responsible for both managing existing client relationships and driving new business.
The Role: As the regional Business Development Manager for our print, signage and marketing division, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our business, working independently to achieve sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the print and signage industry and an understanding of the marketing sector, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You will report directly to the Group Sales Manager and will be a key player in our regional growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
* Independently identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the print and signage sector.
* Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with company goals and drives revenue growth.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities in the region.
* Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Director, highlighting progress and challenges.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to keep the company competitive.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Industry Expertise: Extensive experience (5+ years) in business development within the print and signage sector is essential.
* Proven Success: A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
* Independent Worker: A self-motivated, proactive individual who can work independently as the sole salesperson for the region.
* Client Focused: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
