Our client is a leading energy infrastructure developer and asset owner, backed by a major European energy company. They are dedicated to delivering large-scale heat decarbonisation projects while managing, optimising, and expanding critical energy infrastructure assets. Due to major project wins and recent success they are now looking to continue to grow their team.
We are looking for a Project Manager who will oversee the full lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects, with an initial focus on heat networks. Your responsibilities will include managing feasibility assessments, securing planning approvals, overseeing construction execution, and coordinating stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead the development, planning, and execution of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept to completion
* Act as the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, clearly defining and aligning project requirements
* Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments to drive successful, cost-effective delivery
* Manage planning applications, DNO applications, and ground investigation studies to facilitate project approvals
* Oversee procurement, contractor selection, and supplier management
* Provide technical and strategic guidance on distributed energy technologies
Skills and Experience:
* Strong project management experience in energy infrastructure or mechanical & electrical construction.
* Experience with construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) and budget control.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations, health & safety standards, and planning laws
* Strong understanding of distributed energy technologies
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, commercial teams, and legal advisors
