**MUST HAVE AN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING BACKGROUND** An SME focused on the manufacturing of low-volume machined (interior & exterior trim, plus some body exterior) components is looking for an Account Manager to take responsibility for running and growing existing client relationships.
Business Development:
· Contact existing Company Customers and Prospects from target list.
· Maintain the Customer database with relevant contact information (Names/ Phone/
Email/ Calls/ Meetings)
· Prospect for new Customers and Prospects
· Attend relevant Trade Shows to keeps up to date with the latest technologies.
· Participate in Company Presentations at Customer sites and Trade Shows
· Prospect for new Suppliers as required for the Company to maintain the level of
service/ supply, required by the Customers.
· Manage and support Suppliers as required for the Company.
Activities:
· Meet with Customers to discuss Project requirements.
· Send RFQs to Admin for processing (long term to manage this process)
· Prepare Sales Quotations and send to Customers.
· Follow up to qualify any Customer feedback / negotiate as required.
· Create & update Project Timing Plans as required.
· Communicate with Customers, Suppliers and Colleagues throughout the Project
· Run Projects in accordance with the Company Standard Operating Procedures
Technical:
· Understand the Technical/ Engineering aspects of Customer Projects
· Produce Technical Reports where necessary to communicate any issues.
· Participate in Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities to projects.
· Assist in the maintenance and evolution of the Company technical documents relating to the processes and services offered by the company
General:
· Respond in a timely manner to Customers, Suppliers and Colleagues
· Document everything relating to Company activities and Projects in writing.
· Represent the Company professionally at all times.
· Report to Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
· Ensure the promotion of customer focus.
· Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained.
· Comply with the requirements of the ISO9001: 2015 QMS
