People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Chef/Bakery Operative to join our well-established client based in the Trafford Park.
This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties
As a Chef/Bakery Operative, your duties will be, but not limited to:
Weighing, measuring, and preparing ingredients
Mixing dough and batter
Dividing and shaping dough
Setting oven temperatures and cooking times
Baking bread and other bakery products in large batches
Slicing, wrapping, and labelling products
Packing products ready for distribution
Cleaning workstations, equipment and machinery
Keeping work area clean and tidy
Performing product quality checks
Maintaining food hygiene and safety
Following rules on hygiene, health and safety
Essential Skills
Skills needed to be a Chef / Bakery Operative with our client are:
Basic level of English
Reliable and punctual
Communication skills
Attention to detail
Creativity
Organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Good with their hands
Work quickly and accurately
Experience working as a Bakery Operative is essential
