Location: Birmingham (2 Days On-Site Per Week)
Salary: £55,000 - £66,000
Network IT are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a dynamic IT Services team within a prestigious organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern data architectures that support digital transformation initiatives.
Role Overview:
As a Data Architect, you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructures. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement modern data architectures using cloud and on-premise solutions.
Lead the implementation of cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, databases, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Utilize industry-leading data processing tools for optimized performance.
Establish data governance frameworks to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce data security best practices.
Partner with stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives.
Provide training and mentorship to cross-functional teams on data architecture and tools.What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Data Architect.
Expertise in cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Hands-on experience with modern data warehousing and transformation tool, Snowflake.
Strong knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and real-time analytics.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable: Experience in research-driven or complex data environments, AI-driven analytics, and relevant cloud certifications
