Job Title: Trainee Fabricator Location: Warrington (WA4 6PS) Salary: £11.44 per hour Shifts: Monday- Friday 08:00- 16:30 Contract Type: Temporary- permanent We are currently recruiting for 2 Trainee Fabricators for our well- established client based in Woolston, Warrington. Reporting to the Production Manager you will undertake fabrications works for the manufacturing of windows, curtain walling and doors. As a Trainee Fabricator your duties will be: - " Undertake fabrication works utilising the applicable machinery. " Read and interpret drawings. " Understand and work to quality systems and operating/factory procedures as instructed. " Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business. " Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company. " Ensure information is communicated effectively to team leaders/supervisors. " Be proactive in ensuring you are up to date with all product information and specification details. " As a representative of Britplas you are expected to present yourself and your team to the highest standards and strive to deliver excellent levels of customer service, internally and externally. " Maintain good communication with your team and the office staff to enable successful co-ordination of scheduling and sharing of information. " To carry out any further duties that may be reasonably requested of you, including changes to products, projects, and production team. The successful Trainee Fabricator will have the following skills: - " Must have a "can do" attitude and work well as part of a team. " Use of hand tools and manufacturing machinery. " Experience in a similar fabrication/production role with similar products would be beneficial. " Adhere to all company policies and procedures as instructed. " To ensure that all H&S rules are adhered to at all times, without exception. Including wearing of any PPE that is provided to you. " Carry out all training provided to deadlines prescribed. " Work with your Line Manager to manage your own professional development, including performance appraisal and identifying and meeting training needs to ensure competence and compliance.
