Job summary Full Time 37.5 hours per week. Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. The Patient Care Team in Laboratory Medicine is the front of house Admin & Clerical service for the Department. The team, on a rotational basis, man the Lab Medicine Reception Desk as well as a patient appointment line and a Users Helpline. Forwarding calls to laboratory and medical staff Adding tests onto a sample received using the laboratory computer system. Call Centre: Making appointments for patients to have a blood test in the department. Report distribution: Posting out reports to wards/departments/community settings.
