Job Description:
As a Facilities Management Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices and full-cost learners across various aspects of facilities management, including health and safety, building maintenance, energy management, and sustainability. The role will involve a blend of online and face-to-face delivery to ensure that learners benefit from a flexible, comprehensive learning experience. You will ensure that all learners meet the required standards, progress effectively through their qualifications, prepare for End Point Assessment and develop the skills needed for a successful career in facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective training in facilities management, from Level 2 to 4, using a combination of online and occasional face-to-face sessions.
* Support apprentices through their learning journey, providing regular feedback and assessments.
* Develop and adapt course materials to meet the needs of apprentices and full-cost learners, ensuring content is accessible both virtually and in-person.
* Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent training experience.
* Monitor learner progress, ensuring timely completion of training and assessments.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the facilities management industry and apprenticeship standards.
* Provide one-to-one support and mentoring to apprentices, helping them to meet their learning and development goals.
* Work closely with employers to ensure the apprenticeship program meets their business needs.
* Maintain accurate records of learner progress and provide reports as required.
* Foster a positive and interactive learning environment through both digital platforms and classroom settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
* A minimum of Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management or a related field.
* A proven track record of working within facilities management.
* Previous experience in delivering apprenticeship training or teaching/training adult learners, ideally with experience in both online and face-to-face delivery.
* Strong knowledge of facilities management principles, including health and safety, sustainability, and building maintenance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to assess and provide feedback effectively in both virtual and classroom environments.
* A passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent).
* Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
* Experience delivering training up to Level 4 in facilities management or a related subject.
* Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
