Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to work within the Block Management Division of Acorn. Applicants must be numerate, with excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
You will provide administrative support to the Accounts team and have daily liaison with homeowners, accountants, and third-party suppliers. A responsible and willing disposition is essential. The scope of the job is varied and will include debt recovery and credit control.
Whilst previous administrative experience would be an advantage, applications from graduates or school/college leavers would also be welcome.
Duties will include:
* Inputting payments onto the system
* Taking telephone payments
* Administering standing order mandates
* Banking, bank transfers, and weekly bank reconciliations
* Issuing service charge demands
* Pursuing late service charge payments
* Preparing year-end documents for the accountant
* Inputting invoices onto the system
* Responding to emails and telephone inquiries
* Scanning, filing, and general administrative assistance to the team
Skills required:
