IT Support Engineer required by my leading client in Aylesbury Provide first and second-line IT support to staff Maintain, update, and monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance. Manage IT administration tasks, including user account setup, asset tracking, and MIS support. Create and update IT documentation, user guides, and help materials. Oversee IT hardware replacement cycles to maintain system efficiency. Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects. Person Specification Essential: Proven experience in a customer-facing technical support role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively in person, over the phone, and via email. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a logical approach. Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative approach. Ability to build positive relationships and provide patient, supportive assistance. Excellent time management and organizational skills. High level of accuracy in administrative tasks. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive and confidential information. Technical Skills: Configuration and troubleshooting of: Microsoft client and server operating systems. Active Directory & Group Policy. Microsoft 365 administration. Networking, including DHCP, DNS, and VLANs. Wireless networks, web filtering, and antivirus management. IT infrastructure and cloud-based systems. Commitment to professional development and keeping up to date with industry trends.
