Role purpose
As Logistics & Processing Manager you are responsible for overseeing all logistics, asset processing and recycling operations for a country or for a region. This role ensures efficient planning, control, and management of all logistics & processing activities while coordinating with partners to achieve operational excellence and meet service level agreements (SLAs). The position plays a pivotal role in supporting local business growth through effective management of returned assets, and managing the partners.
Areas of responsibility
Incoming & Outcoming Logistics:
* Plan and organize daily transport operations for incoming assets
* Monitor daily SLA compliance and quality tracking for all incoming goods
* Conduct quality and quantity control checks on goods-in
* Address exceptions and manage deviations in the logistics process
* Process orders for remarketed assets and handle customer service needs for remarketing customers
* Perform customs checks and tax compliance for outgoing shipments
* Oversee the logistics operations related to asset return management
Logistics & EOL Partner Management:
* Conduct regular audits and quality reviews of logistics partners
* Collaborate with the partner management team to ensure service quality and cost control
* Provide ongoing feedback and insights into partner performance and assist in managing any discrepancies or issues
* Oversee the processing of returned assets, ensuring timely handling and resolution of issues like locked devices and discrepancies in received assets
* Collaborate with the EOL partner manager to review processes, manage transport costs, and ensure data accuracy across systems
Locked Devices Management & Reporting:
* Track locked devices with the partners
* Manage the escalation of locked devices to the sales team when necessary
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting to headquarters (Logistics & Processing Competence Center) regarding logistics performance, quality control, and partner management
* Track and report on key metrics such as lease origination, gross margin, and net profit impact driven by logistics operations
Required skills
* Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, or a related field
* Strong organizational and planning skills to manage both incoming and outgoing logistics processes
* Expertise in working with logistics service providers and managing transportation costs and services
* Solid understanding of ITAD-business.
* Ability to perform detailed audits and provide clear feedback on partner performance
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple departments (sales, service, partners)
