Job summary Internal only A secondment opportunity has arisen for 2 x Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurses in Intensive Care to cover maternity leave. One post is until the end of July 2025 and the other is until the end of April 2026 We are looking for a caring, friendly and highly motivated individual who thrives working in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will possess a nationally recognised Intensive care qualification and already demonstrated your ability at Band 6 or 7 to consistently deliver supportive leadership and staff development. You will work in partnership with the senior nursing team and will be supported by the Lead Nurse and Matron to provide leadership on both clinical and professional levels Main duties of the job A successful candidate will need to be compassionate, dynamic, reliable and flexible with an ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and demonstrable clinical experience in a critical care hospital setting. You will need to have excellent clinical skills, knowledge and communication skills with exemplary standards of care.
