Summary
BlackRainbow are looking for a Solution Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical pre and post-sales activities within the Black Rainbow engineering team.

BlackRainbow was created to solve investigation case management inefficiencies faced by Investigators in Law Enforcement, Government Intelligence Sectors and large Corporates at an Enterprise level. We have grown rapidly since bringing our NIMBUS product to market and are well on the way to becoming the standard bearer for innovative investigation case management solutions globally. We have worked as, and with, Investigators in over forty countries over the past two decades to understand investigative challenges and develop solutions to meet the needs of the Investigator and Analyst.
Who We Are Looking For
The Solution Consultant will work with our team to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of NIMBUS within customer environments. They will be responsible for owning and delivering key elements of projects including installation, configuration, and successful user acceptance testing in close consultation with key customer stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate would have strong project management experience and have experience working for or within a law enforcement forensic environment or the corporate investigations space. Existing UK SC & NPPV3 vetting is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical discussions with key customer/prospect stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers effectively articulating creative and technical solutions.
* Manage and lead customer deployments including installation (on-prem and cloud), configuration, and training.
* Understand and communicate value-driven messaging at both a technical and business level.
* Design and deploy data migrations from legacy case management solutions to NIMBUS.
* Record, communicate and work to resolve any risks or issues that may impact project deadlines.
* Manage, prioritise and execute multiple complex tasks and co-ordinate Team members to support you.
* Develop strong working relationships across internal functions (sales, product, development, operations, marketing, etc.)
* Design and deliver customised NIMBUS demonstrations to support the sales team.
* Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team.
Requirements
* Experience of managing and leading large projects and software deployments.
* Experience in product demonstrations and public speaking.
* Ability to translate customer requirements and process flows into a technical solution and workflows.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Strong general Information Technology skills.
* Strong analytical skills and not afraid to get stuck into technical problems.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Ability to learn and adapt autonomously.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
* Ability to fulfil all requirements to achieve Security Clearance (SC) and NPPV3.
* Willingness to travel from time to time to visit our customers and prospects, both in the UK and EU.
Desirable
* Experience with IIS/ASP.NET web applications, SQL 2019+ deployment at production scales.
* Comfortable writing complex SQL queries.
* Experience working in Azure, AWS or other cloud providers.
* Scripting experience in PowerShell, Ruby, Python or other common languages.
* Experience of Forensic processes and tools.
* Experience in data migration and data mapping processes.
* Exposure or experience of ISO Standards ISO17025 and ISO17020.
* Experience of working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or incident response environment.
