We require Assistant Managers who have what it takes to grow with us and share in our success. You will be in control of your restaurant and be expected to deliver revenue and profits by developing your team to provide exceptional guest care and service. Controlling costs, brand standards, outstanding food, team building, and providing a unique guest experience will all impact your success.
Here is what you need:
1. Operationally focused on implementing brand standards and policies
2. Consistently deliver industry-leading guest service
3. Experience with previous openings would be ideal but is not essential
4. Ensure restaurant operational requirements by following brand standards, scheduling, and assigning employees
5. Comply with all requirements of Food Safety and Health and Hygiene standards
6. Maintain awareness of market trends in the hospitality industry, understanding forthcoming guest initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
7. Understand P&L, budgets and managing payroll
8. Manage stock levels and availability
9. Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable
10. Understand weekly sales information
11. Maintain operations by coordinating and enforcing personnel policies and procedures in line with GDK brand standards
12. Provide excellent management guidance to your team including training, development, and leadership
13. Maintain a secure, safe and healthy environment for your team and your guests
14. Maintain performance management and restaurant team member loyalty by coaching, developing, and disciplining employees where necessary
15. Provide training to improve all team members and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity and create an environment where your team can grow their knowledge
16. Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives, and any issues that will enhance performance
17. Understand your guest and fully implement guest recovery where necessary
18. Identify current and future guest requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual guests and training others in a position to understand service requirements
