Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a therapy assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive medical physiotherapy team. The post is varied, and you'll be working across a number of different wards to help the physio team assess current abilities and deliver exercise and rehabilitation plans. We're looking for someone with experience of working as a physiotherapy assistant or equivalent in the NHS, care setting or equivalent. This post is supported by highly specialised senior staff with a structured supervision, mentoring and training programme. Main duties of the job As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with qualified physiotherapists to help patients recover from illness, injury, or surgery. You will provide hands-on support to patients during treatment sessions, assist with exercises, and help maintain physiotherapy equipment. This role plays a vital part in supporting frail and elderly patients, helping them regain movement and independence.
