Property / Asset Manager
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £25000 - £30000 per annum
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Mon – Fri and 15 Saturdays per year, 10am – 3pm
My client is an ever-growing student lettings company with nationwide offices. We are looking for a Property / Asset Manager to work as part of the Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will place a huge emphasis on customer service and be passionate about delivering a first-class experience. As a Property / Asset Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with all management aspects of your allocated property portfolio.
Working in a team, you will be required to build excellent relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors. You must be an excellent communicator who is used to maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people and must have a ‘get stuck in’ attitude.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining great relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors
2. Receive and allocate maintenance jobs and processing of invoices
3. Manage communications via phone, email, and WhatsApp
4. Conduct inspections of properties during Tenancies and ensure property compliance is maintained
5. Organise end of Tenancy check-outs and deposit returns
6. Organise tenancy move-in and inventories
7. Utility Management
8. Offering investment advice on landlords' current and new portfolios
9. Assist with the undertaking of floor plans and carrying out FRAs & Legionnaires
10. Assist with the accounts team to ensure landlord, tenant, and contractor ledgers are updated and correct
Who we’re looking for:
1. You should be an experienced Property or Asset Manager with a minimum of 1 year’s experience either in Estate agency, student HMO’s, PBSA or BTR
2. Excellent organisational skills
3. Excellent communication skills in order to provide a high-quality service to all customers
4. The ability to see a job through from start to finish
5. Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
6. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
7. Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
8. Driving licence is required and a personal car preferred, however, a company pool car can be used.
9. ARLA qualification preferred
