Independent Power Provider working across solar & Battery Energy Storage

A leading Independent Power Provider across the UK is looking for an addition to their grid team.
Over the last 15 years, they've grown significantly, rapidly becoming a large player in the development and construction of solar farms. They now boast a portfolio of over 7GW and are aiming to increase this over the coming years. They also have 70MW of projects in construction stages, with connections varying from transmission to distribution level.
As an IPP, they have multiple revenue streams, working on projects through development stages and selling at shovel-ready state, as well as acquiring projects and managing through construction processes, and owning and operating sites. Your role will run through the full project lifecycle, giving you a varied role with lots of opportunities to develop skillsets.
You'll be working alongside an industry leader with over a decade of experience within National Grid on a varied portfolio of projects. The portfolio of projects includes high voltage and large scale, with several being NSIP. This will mean your role in the team will be varied, and you'll have industry-leading projects to cover.

This role will sit right at the heart of the team, working heavily with the Head of Grid and Head of Development for overall project development and progression.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Reviewing, managing, and generating new grid connection offers for large scale projects.
2. Liaising with DNO & TSO for these projects, establishing relationships, and ensuring grid offers are optimal.
3. Managing application processes, ensuring projects reach major milestones and targets.
Although this role encompasses the full project lifecycle, prior experience & knowledge is only necessary in pre-construction phases.
This role will also include on-site visits to see the projects as they are being constructed.
