This opportunity is ideal for an Account Manager or National Account Manager with foodservice experience, who can balance account management with business development—approximately a 70/30 mix. Exploring new opportunities in both new and existing accounts is a key part of this role.
This is a mature and professional team that works autonomously, meeting at the Head Office location once a week.

Some more information on this National Account Manager role:
* It involves a combination of account management and new business development. You will manage and develop existing accounts while also identifying new customers to focus on strategically.
* Work collaboratively with team members to align with customer and commercial objectives. Weekly meetings ensure strong communication and a supportive environment.
* As in all commercial roles, you will put together a yearly commercial plan to be agreed upon with the Head of Commercial.
* Set budgets that include volume plans, pricing, costs, and margins.
* Collaborate with the development team on new ideas, relaying feedback from the customer base.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the market and your position within the category, with support from the team.
Foodservice experience is advantageous, but the key requirement is commercial experience and the ability to demonstrate your commercial acumen and tackle challenges with innovative ideas.
In summary, your background must include:
* Commercial experience as a Junior National Account Manager or at the National Account Manager level, looking for a change.
* Solid examples of developing accounts, building trusted relationships, and the ingenuity to develop new customers.
* Previous experience in FMCG or food product categories, acting as the point of contact to build relationships and network effectively in the sector.
* Strong numerical skills to interpret data and budgets.
* Confidence in approaching new customers and fostering internal relationships.
* An interest in food manufacturing and knowledge of food trends in the market.
* Professional negotiation skills, with training provided by experienced members of the commercial and leadership team.
* An upbeat and open personality, eager to think differently and challenge the norm.
