We have an exciting opportunity for two skilled Painter/Decorators (Fabric Technicians) to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our portfolio of sites, ensuring all buildings are well-maintained and visually appealing. This role is site based and as such, you could be working across our sites in the North West and Cumbria.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Building Fabric Maintenance: Primarily focused on painting and decorating, you'll handle daily maintenance tasks to keep our buildings in top condition.
2. Safety and Efficiency: Perform tasks safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Site Supervisor and Senior Management, as well as on your own initiative across EWFM's contracts.
3. Service Desk Support: Assist the service desk with planning both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
4. Tool and Equipment Standards: Ensure all tools and equipment are used in compliance with company standards.
5. Documentation: Maintain records in line with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
6. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all company and client health, safety, and environmental regulations, and report any incidents or near misses.
7. PPM and Reactive Works: Support all planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, coordinating with contractors when necessary.
8. Contractor Supervision: Oversee external contractors on-site as needed.
9. Customer Liaison: Act as the key contact between contractors and EWFM on project work.
10. Facilities Manager Support: Respond to requests from Facilities Managers in a timely manner.
11. Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
12. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required by the Hard FM Management team.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in painting and decorating (e.g., City and Guilds).
2. Working at Heights: Comfortable and capable of working at heights.
3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a strong focus on quality.
4. Mathematical Skills: Able to measure work areas accurately and calculate time and materials needed.
5. Health and Safety: Solid understanding of health and safety standards.
Experience:
1. Maintenance Experience: Previous experience in maintaining a variety of assets, including general maintenance tasks.
2. Collaborative Work: Experience working alongside other construction professionals such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.

A full driving licence is required for this role.
