We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated supply teachers to join our team in the Workington, Whitehaven, Wigton and across West Coast area of Cumbria.
We offer a variety of placements in local schools, providing you with the chance to make a positive impact on students’ lives while enjoying the flexibility you need.
Position Details:
• Location: Schools in Workington, Whitehaven and across the West- Coast of Cumbria
• Role: Supply Teacher
• Type: Flexible, with opportunities for both short-term and long-term placements
You will be paid between £100 - £140 per day for day-to-day cover depending on your experience, long term roles will be paid in line with AWR regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality teaching across various subjects and year groups.
• Adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and contribute to the planning process when required.
• Engage and inspire students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in primary or secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
• Passion for teaching and making a difference in students’ lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available later.
