Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with steel plate up to 200mm. This role requires Fabricating and MIG Welding experience and proficiency in using hand/power tools and cutting torches Duties Fabricate and heavy steel according to specifications and engineering drawings. Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Utilise hand/power tools and cutting torches for cutting, steel up to 200mm thick Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications Time served Welding and Fabrication Proven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly with steel plate. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools/cutting torches safely and effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
