The role:
This role is focused on account management of existing on-trade customers, whilst winning and developing new accounts, in line with our strategy to grow the beer and cider category in the UK.
Location – Exeter and Taunton, England (Postcodes BA, BS, DT, EX, TA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Account Management of existing Independent Free Trade Customers (IFT).
Target and win new accounts within the IFT.
Develop account plans to drive and protect growth across multiple operators.
Build a strong network of working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Lead key activations and ensure seamless execution of brand activities.
Full ownership of your territory, volume, and financial performance.
Who we’re looking for:
Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
Demonstrates ownership, taking personal responsibility for results, and leading by example.
Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Preference for previous sales experience.
Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
Proficient in negotiation, and objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency; on-trade and premium brand experience are desirable.
A full UK driver's license is required for this position.
