Main duties of the job The successful applicant will initially be assigned to the Specialist Sections of Biochemistry, which comprise Trace Elements, LC-MS, Metabolic and Specialist Biochemistry. Rotation between these areas may be required, and you may be assigned to other parts of the Biochemistry laboratory as per service need. The Specialist sections perform a range of automated, semi-automated and manual assays. Technologies used include Electrophoresis, ELISA, Automated Immunoassay, GC-MS, ICPS, LC-MS-MS and amino acid analysis.
