Mitie Technical Services are looking for a Project Administrator to join the team, based at our Whiteley office.
What is the main role of the Project Administrator?
This role is essential to ensure that all aspects of administration for the day-to-day project coordination work are completed in an efficient and timely manner ensuring that projects are executed, reported on, and completed efficiently in accordance with delivery timescales and processes.
You will drive the project forward, document processes, update systems, solve problems, troubleshoot issues and escalate issues to the Project Delivery Manager/ Project Manager.
What are the key role objectives & responsibilities?
As the Project Administrator you will provide support for all elements of field based projects whilst ensuring all daily requirements are met including monitoring progress in field. You will use external online portals to align access permits & prioritise, coordinate and schedule daily work and system updates. This can include producing work packs and ensuring instructions are issued to field representatives that are appropriate and effective. You will also ensure field engineers have the correct H&S documentation for all site activity.
The Project Administrator is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of records including data sheets, project documentation and reports, ensuring all data captured is accurate and meets the specific requirements. As a member of the Technical Services team you will be expected to become involved in a range of activities to enable the company to succeed.
What does our ideal candidate look like?
Previous experience in Operational Delivery administration is required. This role requires a strong character who has the experience and confidence to work at a fast pace, with a strong background in administration.

* GCSE Math's & English (A-C/9-4) or equivalent as minimum.
* IT literate including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Super organised, methodical and have a way of getting things done.
* Detail orientated with strong record keeping skills and works with high levels of accuracy.
* Ability to problem solve.
* Willing and able to work with minimal supervision.

* Enjoys working collaboratively.

* Willing to learn and pursue relevant qualifications.
