Job Summary
Kiwa Fire Safety Compliance is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand market presence, and create new revenue streams. In this role, you will leverage market insights and industry trends to develop strategic plans that support long-term business objectives. You will work closely with key clients and stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships and fostering partnerships. This is a remote, home-based role (ideally located in the Midlands) with frequent travel to visit clients.
About the role
1. Develop and implement business development strategies
2. Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape
3. Identify, target, and acquire new clients
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
5. Drive sales growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies and tactics
6. Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive efforts towards business growth
7. Track and analyse key performance metrics
8. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners
9. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
Do you have what it takes?
1. Proven experience in a Business Development role
2. Strong knowledge of the fire engineering industry, including key players, regulations, and market trends (highly desirable)
3. Proven ability to develop strategies, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth
4. Experience in lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals
5. Understanding of marketing, budgeting, and financial analysis
6. Skilled in building relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
7. Excellent presentation and communication skills
8. Knowledge of project management, CRM software, and sales analytics tools
What can you expect from us in return?
1. £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
