Do you want to make a difference in the lives of our tamariki? If this sounds like you please read on as we would love to hear from you!
A vacancy has arisen to teach in a Y2–3 class and we are needing that special someone to teach this class until the end of the 2025 school year when we will advertise and appoint for a permanent position. A start date can be negotiated.
We are seeking applicants who thrive in a team environment, enjoy working with committed, supportive colleagues and want to make a positive difference to the lives and learning of our tamariki. A sense of humour with this position is essential! We have a well-established culture of care and a Board of Trustees that is dedicated to providing ongoing professional learning and development.
We use a strong restorative approach to support the growth of positive relationships and are committed to providing the best outcomes for our tamariki. We are looking for a committed and organised teacher that has strengths in communicating, building strong relationships and a desire to engage in professional development opportunities.
Prior to appointing we would love to give shortlisted applicants the opportunity to teach in the classroom to see if this position is the right fit for them.
Interviews (if required) as well as the opportunity to teach in the classroom for a short period of time will be offered.
