* Working a Continental shift pattern - 12-hour day / night shifts

The role of Warehouse Supervisor:
* Actively manage and drive Health & Safety performance within the team
* Leading the team to deliver the daily production plan and the department KPI's whilst driving team engagement - ensuring a recovery plan in place to protect customer delivery
* Ensuring quality of product maintained to both internal and customer standards
* Identifying training needs and implement ongoing development to ensure operators maintain and exceed required standards
* Identify opportunities for improvement within production areas utilising activities such as Gemba Walks, 5S Audits, Process Audits, Waste Walks, Evaluation of Scrap and implementing corrective actions etc.
* Ensuring prompt action taken on any quality issues highlighted within department
* Organise the supply of materials and ensure completion of any related documentation
* Effectively manage team performance; including Team Leaders and Operators, to ensure they are maximising their capability within their role.
* Ensuring all direct reports comply with company policies and procedures including: Procedure sheets and work instructions, Use of gauges and assembly equipment, Product quality, 5S
The ideal Warehouse Supervisor:
* Ability to develop and engage a high performing team
* Previous experience of managing / leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Self-motivated with a genuine drive for achieving production targets and operational excellence
* Experience of championing continuous improvement methodologies within a manufacturing setting
* Proficient with Microsoft packages and an ability to use available data to inform decision making and action planning
