Job Overview: SEN / SEND Teacher needed for providing 1:1 tutoring to Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in your area.
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN / SEND teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners by providing 1:1 holistic tutoring.
At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

* The gross pay for this role is between £28 p/h - £33 p/h (constituted of a base rate + 12.07% holiday pay)

The SEN / SEND Teacher role:
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Supporting young people referred to us by local authorities and schools
* Providing flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Teacher tasks and responsibilities:
* Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring
* Providing engaging sessions which meet the needs of young people
* Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
SEN / SEND Teacher requirements:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work
