Teaching Assistant Are you a caring and adaptable individual looking to make a difference in early years education? Sense Education is seeking an SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN setting in Kendal, supporting young children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to children with SEND, helping them engage and thrive in their learning. Work closely with teachers to adapt activities and meet the varying needs of students. Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that encourages development. Support children with their social, emotional, and communication skills. Assist with classroom preparation and contribute to a positive learning space. What Were Looking For: A TA qualification or another relevant childcare/education qualification. Experience supporting SEND individuals (children or adults) is highly beneficial. A kind, compassionate, and adaptable approach to meeting individual needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
