Hours: 22.5 hours - 37.5 hours per week, three 6am starts for outreach
Contract: Temporary

Hourly Pay: £12.31

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a part-time Homeless Outreach Worker to support service users that are out on the streets, sofa surfing, or rough sleeping. You will work with those vulnerable people who may have recently moved into permanent accommodation, may be in temporary accommodation, or could still be sleeping rough. You will provide intensive, wrap-around support to address their accommodation needs as well as any other areas due to their complex, entrenched nature. You will build trust and support service users to navigate them through pathways and progress towards a life away from the streets and homelessness. You will be a great communicator, building strong relationships with external agencies in order to reduce the number of people returning to the streets and supporting them to access relevant services to address their needs. Delivering person-centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.
