Level 2 Counselling Lecturer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Hourly rate: £39.85/hour (£33.32/hour + £6.53/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: Part Time - Fridays 8:45 - 5 pm
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Level 4 Counselling Lecturer to join our Professional and Service Industries department.
In this exciting role, you will be delivering teaching and learning across our Counselling provision at Level 4. This is a specialised role, and we require someone who is ideally trained in SEG and has significant experience in research methods.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager, and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will also act as a course leader, promote attendance, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within your subject area. It is essential that you contribute to open evenings, parent evenings, and similar events as required.
The successful candidate must have:
* A full teaching qualification (ideally at Level 5 or above, but part-qualified candidates will be considered)
* Previous teaching experience within an FE setting
* Counselling at Level 4 or above
* Relevant industry experience
